We have a comprehensive set of leisure activities. As you drive into the property past our Sculptured wooden Owl (1),
there is a picnic area to the left over looking our pleasant and peaceful valley (2).
Outside Manor Hall in a secluded corner is an outside Hot Tub with a sitting
area (3). This is complemented by an indoor Hot Tub hidden away around the side of The Manor House
(4). This Hot Tub opens out onto a large sitting area over looking the valley (5),
with a separate picnic area on the level below this (6). Both have panaromic views over the Esk Valley and
the Esk valley railway line, which now carries regular steam trains provided by The North Yorkshire Moors Railway, running from Grosmont
directly into Whitby. This area also leads into a secret enclosed sitting area (7) where you can enjoy the extensive views in
all weather or just sit and relax without being found.
Round the side of Manor Hall is the Sauna suite (8) with a large jacuzzi bath and separate shower, ideal for
washing off before using the Hot Tubs. You can then either visit our secluded cottage garden (9) or wander into the Indoor
games area, through the well equipped laundry. The Games room (10) has table tennis, pool
(also with a small pool table for children) (11), table football and a darts board.
It then leads into a small fitness gym. Below the house is a field where you can play ball games on a large football field (weather permitting
of course). You could wander down the footpath to the old chapel, where the Legend of the Penny Hedge originated.
